Nujabes - Music is mine

I'm still around .......just these days are "one of those days".... I'm getting ready for the Craft Mafia's Event - so excited!:) But in the meantime there is always one hundred other things to worry about (to me it is mostly about my far-away parents' health) I try to collect myself and focus on the positive aspects - but who says it is easy.... We all go through challenges.... So, this is my mood now but music always helps!:) Modal Soul was introduced to me by my son - and I'm happy to find out one more common thing - we both like it!:)


Vagyok...csak nehezek a napok....Keszulok lelkes-izgatottan a Craft Mafia Balint napi vasarra - de kozben ezer mas aggodnivalo is ( nekem ez leginkabb a tavol elo, idosodo szuleim egeszsege) Persze probalom osszeszedni/tartani magam, a pozitiv dolgokra is koncentralni - de ki mondja, hogy ez konnyu?! Mindannyiunknak megvannak a kihivasai. Hat, ilyesmi a hangulatom most.... - de a zene mindig segit. Pl a Modal Soul, amit a nagyfiam mutatott nekem - s ez is orom, hogy vannak meg kozos zeneink, amit mindketten szeretunk!:)  ( Annak idejen az Orrom krumpli, Hajam koc -al kezdtuk:))

Bódvalenke - Freskófalu

Magyarorszagon lattam egy dokufilmet errol a kezdemenyezesrol. Azota is sokszor eszembejut.

Milyen jo is lenne tobb hasonlorol hallani ebben az eloiteletekkel teli vilagunkban. Ez a falu a maga erejebol szeretne kitorni a nyomorusagbol - egy kis segitseggel csodakat alkotnak. Igy is lehet.

"Az Európában egyedülálló közösségi művészeti alkotás ötlete Pásztor Esztertől, az Európa Műhely Kulturális és Közművelődési Társaság projektvezetőjétől származik. „Megelégeltem a nyomorúságos közállapotokat, és úgy gondoltam, tenni kéne valamit. Két évvel ezelőtt egy barátom hozott el Bódvalenkére, hogy csináljunk valamit, ebben a halálra ítélt faluban” – mesél a kezdetekről Pásztor Eszter. „Beugrott egy tizenöt évvel korábbi egyiptomi emlékem: van egy falu, ahol kipingálták a házak falait és ragyogóan megéltek ebből a helyiek. Sorra mennek a turistabuszok, etetik, itatják őket.” Az Aggteleki Nemzeti Parkba látogató turisták akár Bódvalenkére is átugorhatnának, hogy megcsodálják ezt a különleges művészeti projektet, ugyanis csak 10 km a távolság. "

Help is requested for the implementation of a very special project. One of the Hungary’s most deprived ghetto villages struck with multiple deprivation wishes to get back on its feet, to demonstrate that with a little help it is able to break out of poverty through its own efforts.


A centre of art unique in Europe is in the making in this village: a tremendous open-air exhibition of European Roma painiting. Initially, Hungarian Roma painters painted murals on the walls: so far, thirteen monumental works have been completed. As of the spring of 2011, Roma painters from other European countries will also be invited.

Polymer Clay/ Gyurmaekszer

A short by-pass for polymer clay … I've made this two necklaces while my glass were forming in the kiln... Its always fun to work with other medium...Sure it needs improvement, too but I wanted to show you not just the end result but also the process. Here it goes.

Kis kitero az uveg fusingtol.... sutogyurmaztam kicsit,mig az uvegmedalok formalodtak a kemenceben.
Mindig van javitani valo, de szeretnem folyamataban mutatni eziranyu erdeklodesemet!:)

Tack Fused

To continue the "Checkered Theme" here is the next piece. I've made few pendants with this (tack fusing) technique - I'm showing you the biggest one first. :)

I like how the light plays between layers. Smaller sizes are coming!:)

Folytatva a Kockas Tema-t,  elkeszult nehany ujabb darab - a legnagyobbat mutatom meg elsonek!:) Azt a technikat valasztottam, amikor a retegek nem olvadnak teljesen egymasba, megtartjak eredeti karakteruket - igy erdekes hatas erheto el a szines uvegek retegelesevel. A feny is jatszik, bujkal a retegek kozt - igy egy orokke valtozo, izgalmas medal szuletett. :) Kisebb meretuek is jonnek!
