Model Homes

As I mentioned before we have been house hunting. Our first desire was to find an older house with lots of character which would be a great "canvas" to add our style. After - I don't even know how many - months and houses we started to check out new developments as well. That is kind of fun! I really enjoy the model homes lately - the designs have changed a lot... from the extremely formal style they moved to a little more modern (with a rustic flair), more interesting interior with lighter colors. The interiors of these model houses were made by Design Line where I did my interior design internship. :) The house hunting is still on - so I might show you more pictures of fun houses later.:)

Excursion from glass...

This is a small excursion from glass to another medium. I like to mix different styles. This time I used Mid-Century Eames fabric to create the "buttons" then I added a brass vintage chain. I like the result: fun, original, unusual.

Egy kis kitero az uvegtol....most eppen a textilek fele. Mert jo jatszani stilusokkal, szabadon keverni oket - ahogy ennel a lancnal is : Eames "Retro" textil es a vintage talalkozasa. Szerintem semmi bajuk egymassal, sot csak kihangsulyozzak egymas szepseget. Avagy szerintetek?:)

Variations on a theme... Still red and still "cabochon pendant". Reminds me of good stuff only...

Woven Glass

I'm working on a new promo-collection. This "woven-glass" pendant design
is truly a trademark piece from Glassimo - I love making them! :) On
that piece, a wove red and orange glass stripes - but more
color-combinations are coming. It was fused, re-fused, ground, fused
again etc for several times to get this unique look. I like its
playful irregular shape - that is not a typical fused glass pendant.
I'm happy to share the progress with you!:)

Dolgozom egy uj promo-kollekcion. Ez a "fonott-uveg" medal igazan Glassimo - szeretem csinalni mert: jatekos, originalis, nem tipikus, nem kiszamithato. Tobbnapos prucedura utan nyeri el a vegso formajat...egetes/hutes, csiszolas, ujra egetes stb utan. Ez piros-narancs szinu, de keszulnek tobb szinkombinacioban is. Mutatom majd oket is!:)
